Long ago, two people came to the land. Both entering completely different sides of the world. Both complete opposites.
The man who entered upon the North East had to climb over the cold blizzard chilled mountains. Ice filled his body, freezing his beard. He would have died. Had it not been for the magic that coursed through the lands. Wolves approached his freezing body, and one stood out to him. The large black wolf. She moved forward and then curled her warm body around him. The pack followed suit. Warming the man until he was well, then they moved him to the caves, where he was with the wolves.
The woman who came, she was frail and gentle, free spirited as the wind itself. But as the snakes were towards her in the open plains. Her only safety was that of a stallion, as black as the night itself. He killed the vipers, immune to their killing bite.
Ships followed them across. And after the two people who first came across.. Their children had a special gift… And so did the next generation.
Communication with a single chosen creature. Be it wolf, be it horse.
Time passed, some never became bonded to the creatures that roamed the island.
So they left to the land. Their children, they feel the pull. And so generations down the line. The Royals of each standing at the head of each. Open their arms to those that come. But not all are as wonderful as it appears. Some have a terrible history, and some would rather be alone to the shadows then the rest.
Some are to different than others…
And some just want acceptance.
These bonds, can they survive today's world?
